The Creation of Centre Prince Henri: From Idea to Reality

The idea for Centre Prince Henri began when the municipality of Walferdange purchased the land, measuring 27.30 Ar in 1968. The project received initial approval from the municipal council in 1974, and the foundation stone was laid on April 15, 1979. After years of planning and construction, the center officially opened its doors on April 4, 1981. Today, discussions are underway about expanding the facility to meet the growing needs of the community.

A Space for Culture and Community

From the beginning, Centre Prince Henri was designed to serve as a cultural and community center. Over the years, it has become a place where residents can gather for a variety of events and activities.
